Description
Located in the University District, the 5-story building of Rowan Camden campus, includes the restored a 1928 First Camden National Bank and Trust building, a new 3-story addition at the former bank’s rear and an Annex building located at Broadway and Cooper, features 40 classrooms and serves over 800 students each year.

The priority was to renovate areas that could house student teaching spaces and repair previous owner’s neglected maintenance; making the building water-tight. This planned approach would allow them to open the building for teaching with subsequent phases of renovations for other student, administration, and faculty support. Along with exterior repairs and interior renovations, the building required new utility services such as sanitary laterals, domestic water service, new electrical service, and a planned storm water service.
