Susan Laine| Senior Interior Designer
Susan Laine, brings over twenty-five (25) years of creative and exciting interior design experience to the firm. Here at R2A, she leads as a Senior Interior Designer on notable hotel and casino projects from Louisiana to Maine for Caesars Entertainment properties that include P2E, Bally’s, Caesar’s, Harrah’s, and Horseshoe as well as other hospitality giants such as Churchill Downs, MGM Resorts and Mohegan Sun.
Sue’s design experience also includes significant healthcare, higher education, and corporate environment clients. Since 2018, she has lead the design of 4 ground-up HRM facilities in Kentucky: Derby City Gaming, Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel, Turfway Park Racing & Gaming and Derby City Gaming Expansion. Those construction budgets total over $500M.
Recently, she managed the design to re-imagine the Bally’s Dover Casino Resort Circulo Lounge – Delaware’s first rotating bar. Another notable project was designing a 70,000 SF renovation to the legendary and imfamous Churchill Downs Racetrack. She understands clients’ business objectives and she champions great design that achieves excellent ROI for the clients’ projects.
Sue brings a personable and engaging presence to each project, complemented by a strong sense of focus and meticulous attention to detail. Her disciplined approach reflects a deep commitment to achieving client objectives, consistently delivering on project goals, schedules, and budgets.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University, graduating Cum Laude.
