Michael Powell, Associate | Senior Project Manager
Michael Powell, Associate, is a Senior Project Manager for R2Architects, where he oversees a wide variety of project types ranging from 5,000 sf – 475,000 sf including: hospitality, gaming, hotel, healthcare, higher education and corporate workplace.
Michael is responsible for client projects that pertain to Caesars Entertainment, Churchill Downs, MGM Resorts, Cape Regional Health Systems and Cooper University Healthcare. Michael’s combined strengths in architecture, planning, and interiors allow him to develop innovative and technically sound design solutions for a broad roster of clients.
Recent work includes ground-up entertainment and hospitality projects, acute care healthcare and research facilities, and higher education academic and research institutions. The projects he has recently worked on extend from Louisiana, to Kentucky to the New Hampshire; they vary from a ground up construction to a renovation or expansion project types.
Michael’s demeanor is a very accommodating; he excels at maintaining and managing a calm and focused team on projects. His interpersonal skills are excellent in listening to the client and team members. He applies his strengths to his work consistently in successfully steering all aspects of the design work from Programming through Project Opening.
